This month's topic will be presented by our local ambassador of surprise and delight, Tim Franklin. Tim will be showing us many cool features available with CSS3. Local Database guru, Adam Hutson, will be presenting a developer-oriented series of topic on SQL Server 2008. In addition to the presentation, you'll have time for networking as well as door prizes.
July Meeting
Posted: Tuesday, July 12, 2011 - 5:17:48 AMThis month's meeting is on Tuesday, July 26th. Because of a scheduling conflict, we will be at the Library Station on North Kansas Expressway in the Story Hour room.
Microsoft Developer Evangelist, Clint Edmonson, will be joining us from St. Louis. Clint will be discussing what it means to be lean and agile. (Don't worry, there will not be any pull-up competitions or foot races.) In addition to the presentation, you'll have time for networking as well as door prizes.
August Meeting

Local developer, Adam Neal, will be treating us to a FUN presentation this month. Leave your ORMs and report builders at the office and join us to learn about XNA. The XNA framework helps developers to focus on building games - not the boilerplate game infrastructure.

September Meeting

This month's presentation, presented by Chad Boschert, will be an introduction to some of the new features in ASP.NET MVC 3. The presentation will introduce the Razor view engine, HTML5-enabled project templates, new HTML helpers, as well as NuGet integration and other features.

October Meeting

December Meeting
Posted: Tuesday, December 06, 2011 - 3:53:45 PMInstead of our usual presentation, we'll be having a social event this month to celebrate the holiday season. We have reserved an area at Fox & the Hound on E. Independence for the user group. Some appetizers will be provided; drinks, meals, and games (pool, shuffle board, darts, etc.) are up to you. There is no agenda other than having fun and getting to know the other developers in our community. Thanks to our generous sponsors, there may be some gift giving too!
January Meeting
Posted: Thursday, January 19, 2012 - 12:58:01 PMThis month's meeting is on Tuesday, January 24th at the S. Campbell Library Center in the Story Hour Room from 6p-7:30p.
We'll enjoy an HTML5 and CSS3 presentation from (the always entertaining) Tim Franklin and will be holding elections for our 2012 board members. This year we have a good mix of board members staying and departing.
If you've thought about being active in our group leadership, please let me know. I am happy to answer any questions that you have. If you're on the fence, I can say that my involvement in the board have been very rewarding over the last few years. I have met some pretty awesome people and built lasting relationships.
